Azerbaijan starts large-scale military exercises

According to the plan, approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, on November 12-18 the Armed Forces will hold large-scale exercises to test the command and weapons control systems in the field.

This is being reported by the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

It is reported that the exercise will involve up to 60 thousand personnel, more than 50 aircrafts and helicopters, more than 150 tanks and armored vehicles, as well as up to 700 units of missile troops and artillery.
