Arab tourists coming to Azerbaijan in summer intend to come back in winter. Summer of 2016 was memorable by hitherto unprecedented in-flow of tourists from Arab countries. According to official statistics, during 6 months the number of Arab tourists increased by 8 times compared to the same period last year.  Arab tourists visited not only Baku, but also the regions of the country.

According to some tourists, the weather in Azerbaijan during the summer months is cooler in comparison to their own countries, so they will come again in the future.

Tourist from Iraq, Abdul Abbas said that his friends and family “just fell in love” with the breezy weather of Baku.

Another Iraqi tourist Bilal Iyad said that the cool weather is the reason he will be coming to Azerbaijan in winter:

“Because Iraq doesn’t have this kind of weather”. Iraqi tourists noted that they stay in a 5-star hotel in Baku and paid $ 550 per person.
