Danger from Russia: phosphorous and vacuum bombs being used in Aleppo

Russian warplanes are reported to have used phosphorous and vacuum bombs against targets in Syria’s opposition held province of Aleppo.

Turkey’s Anadolu Agency reported local sources as saying that, on Wednesday, Russian fighter jets targeted with phosphorous bombs, the Anadan hospital, north of Aleppo, and dropped vacuum bombs on a pharmaceutical factory in the town of Kafr Hamra, causing significant damage to them.

The sources said Russian fighter jets have intensified their raids against the Castillo Road and Handarat area; the only roads leading out of  Aleppo toward the northern province of Idlib.

Russian jets have also carried out several raids against opposition held areas in the city of Aleppo.
