Dubai Frame to open to public on New Year’s Eve

UAE residents can now add an additional destination to their New Year celebrations as they can climb the 150-metre high glass bridge of the Dubai Frame.

Everyday from 10am to 7pm, residents and visitors will get to see the city’s growth from a brand new perspective on New Year’s Eve from the latest landmark.

After a long wait, the public will be able to enjoy 360-degree view of the city through Dubai Frame that shines tall in Dubai’s Zaabeel Park with its two golden towers and a connecting bridge. The Dubai Frame can be accessed for only Dh50 by adults and Dh20 by children between 3-12 years of age. People above 60 and people of determination with two companions can enter free of charge.

People are expected to pre-book their journey ahead on an app and www.dubaiframe.com as soon as tickets go live.

Paper ticket counters will also available at Zaabeel Park gate 4 for those who wish to pick up their tickets on site. People also have the option of displaying their tickets through their iPhones.

Visitors will journey through Dubai’s past at the mezzanine level, where the city’s history and evolution will be told through new and updated means of presentation.

They will then move to experience the sky deck level, with a 360-degree view of Old Dubai to the north and New Dubai to the south. Interactive applications to supplement the New Dubai experience.

The Dh250 million is the city’s perfect way to tell its own story using 3D technology and impressive augmented reality and interactive application.
