Armenian army officer beat up two soldiers for refusing to clean showers

According to Armenian media, two soldiers, Asatryan and Arsen Markaryan, sustained serious injuries as a result of hazing at the military base in Madagiz, located in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

Both servicemen of the 4th battalion of the regiment refused to clean the showers, for which they were brutally beaten by the platoon commander Ashot Gevorgyan. The injured soldiers were hospitalized. In addition, it turned out that a soldier of the 2nd battalion of the same regiment Gagik Martirosyan, who broke his finger under unknown circumstances, was taken to the hospital the same day.

In another unit located in Agdere, servicemen Aram Mardinyan, Alyosha Barseghyan, Apres Grigoryan and Harutyun Hakopyan were involved in the investigation into the case of a soldier named Hrach due to the violation of the rules of using firearms.

Armen Yegazaryan, a military officer on contractual basis of the military unit in occupied Agdere, has been charged with the beating of a junior officer, as well as desertion and using a mobile phone.
