“I hope that during the next meeting of the heads of Azerbaijan and Armenia the parties will undertake substantive work and announce about certain steps even if it proves impossible to reach a final settlement,” US Co-Chair Richard Hoagland said in an interview with Armenian and Azerbaijani services of the radio of “Voice of America”.
“It’s time for Azerbaijan and Armenia to strengthen mutual trust.” The American co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Richard Hoagland said in an interview with the Voice of America radio.
He expressed the hope that certain steps will be taken in this direction in the near future.
According to R. Hoagland, the basis of the settlement is the search for compromises that will demilitarize the situation and bring peace, prosperity and security to the peoples of the region.
“The US continues to work on this task together with Russia, despite the strained relations between the two countries. Nothing has changed in our joint work,” Hoagland noted.
