The first lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva has been appointed the first vice-president of Azerbaijan by President Ilham Aliyev`s order on 21 February.

Being guided by the first part of article 103.1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

Mehriban Arif qizi Aliyeva to be appointed as the first vice-president of Azerbaijan.
