Foreign policy of Russia is a threat to world peace. This opinion was stated by the Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius, at the meeting of the UN Security Council on Tuesday, February 21 in New York, said the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Baltic republic, reports TASS.
According to him, with the end of the “Cold War”, ideological confrontation still remained in Europe. Linkevičius said that Russia provokes decades-old conflicts in Transnistria, Nagorno-Karabakh, Georgia and “continues military aggression against Ukraine.”
“To resolve the conflicts in Europe, it is necessary to seize every opportunity of regional and international organizations, as well as means of diplomatic pressure, including sanctions,” – claims Lithuanian Foreign Minister.
