Russian ambassador in Baku: “I believe that nothing’s going to happen to me here”

After the terrorist attack in Turkey that killed the ambassador Andrei Karlov, security at the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan has been strengthened.

As Trend reports, this was stated by Russian Ambassador Vladimir Dorokhin at an event dedicated to Russia’s chairmanship in the CIS.

“I trust in Azerbaijan and believe that nothing’s going to happen to me here”, – said Dorokhin.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Azerbaijan for the support at this difficult moment, which immediately expressed condolences following reports of Karlov’s death.
