Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed bin Rashid, daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has announced her engagement to Sheikh Faisal Saud Khalid Al Qasimi.
Sheikha Latifa issued the news via her Instagram account. The post shows an image of a wedding announcement in gold Arabic calligraphy with the words “Weddings of Al Qasimi and Al Maktoum” over a coral pink background. It was also shared by Sheikh Faisal, a member of the Ras Al Khaimah ruling family.
“So very happy for you,” Instagram user @k_rara_ posted to Sheikha Latifa’s announcement. “Praying for you as you begin your married life.”
“Mabrook,” wrote @kirajeandxb, adding a red heart emoticon.
In another Instagram update published yesterday, Sheikha Latifa posted a photo of her father and her smiling fiancé, Sheikh Faisal. Below, she wrote: “My family” with a red heart icon.
An Al Maktoum family Instagram fan account also shared a photo of both Sheikha Latifa and Sheikh Faisal, congratulating them on their engagement along with a poem that reads: “May Allah bless both of you and unite you with kindness, you both look great together, may you both be happy with each others love with each sunset and sunrise.”
