HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, dropped in to his daughter’s school on World Teachers Day.

HH Princes Haya shared a photo of her husband with his daughter, HH Sheikha Al Jalila, and her class on Instagram.

Princess Haya wrote on Wednesday: “HH Sheikh Mohammed stopped in to say hello to Al Jalila’s class today!”

The parent of one of the children in the class messaged back: “My son was very excited to meet His Highness in his class today! He is an awesome father, proud to have him as a leader.”

She wrote: “Great teachers are truly invaluable members of society. They encourage us to see the best in ourselves and reach our full potential.

“Today on World Teacher’s Day, I want to thank teachers here in the UAE and around the world – your dedication will never cease to inspire me.”
