Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and chairman of the Dubai Municiplaity, approved the setting up of a municipality office complex in Hor Al Anz at a total cost of Dh104 million.
Hussain Nasser Lootah, director-general of Dubai Municipality, said the new facility was approved by Shaikh Hamdan to cope with the growing needs of Dubai’s population for services. The construction of a municipal service office building aims to achieve the municipality’s strategic goals of providing a proper working environment for its staff.
The building will consist of a basement for car parking, a ground floor and three floors extending across 28,000 square metres. The ground floor will house mixed-used halls for meetings, a cafeteria and Municipality Clinic offices, while the floors will contain the various department offices. The eco-friendly building will be set up according to the latest international standards and modern architectural style.
