Hamdan saves trapped fish in Dubai waters

As a gesture of thanks, fish swims around Sheikh Hamdan for five minutes

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, saved a fish trapped at the bottom of the sea. The fish then accompanied its saviour for more than five minutes.

Sheikh Hamdan’s private photographer, Ali Issa, revealed this story in a video released through his Snapchat and YouTube accounts and published by Arabic daily Emarat Al Youm on Monday.

Sheikh Hamdan was on a deep-sea fishing cruise when he saw a fish trapped at the bottom of the sea and was not able to release itself.

“After fish was freed from the trap, it kept on swimming left and right around Sheikh Hamdan as if it was trying to thank him. Although we were three of us with him in his underwater trip, but the fish was around Sheikh Hamdan only,” Issa said.

The photographer shared an image also of the fish with Sheikh Hamdan and a video titled ‘The story of Fazza and the fish.’
