Thirteen PKK terrorists have been killed in counterterror operations carried out in the Çukurca district of southeastern Hakkari province in the last two days.

In an airstrike carried out in the Uzundere region of Çukurca district, two PKK terrorists were killed, the Turkish military said yesterday.

In two separate statements, the military said that 11 PKK terrorists were killed on Wednesday and in airstrikes on PKK targets in Northern Iraq and Çukurca at around 6 p.m., four terrorists were also killed.

On the same day, seven terrorists were killed as part of Operation Mekan Şahin. In total, 195 terrorists have been killed in the operation, the statement further said.
