A rainforest in the sky: Dubai skyscraper pushes architectural envelope

Last information and new pictures of rainforest inside Dubai hotel skyscraper, the upcoming Rosemont on Sheikh Zayed Road

Last April we learnt a new Dubai skyscraper was set to become the first in the UAE to have a rainforest housed within it.

Located on Sheikh Zayed Road near Barsha Heights and The Greens, Rosemont Hotel and Residences will be a dual-tower development consisting of two skyscrapers, which were initially billed to be 47 stories high but will now be an extra six stories taller.

We’ve since discovered a lot more about the otherworldly features of this ‘creation’ by ZAS Architects, in association with Kieferle&Partner, and even by Dubai standards they stand out for their uniqueness.
