Mammadyarov: Azerbaijan will continue to provide assistance to those who need it.

“In 2017 Azerbaijan was one of the first countries to allocate 100 tons of humanitarian aid to Rohingya Muslims who are suffering as the result of mass violence and ethnic cleansing”, – Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov said at 45th session of Culture Ministers of OIC Member States held in Dhaka.

According to Interfax Azerbaijan, the minister added that Azerbaijan will continue to provide assistance to “those who need it”.

zerbaijan is deeply concerned over wars and armed conflicts in a number of the OIC Member States, which have led to greater security challenges, political instability in some regions, large-scale displacement and unprecedented humanitarian crisis, Minister stated.

According to his words, Azerbaijan will continue to work intensively with the other OIC Member States through different OIC Contact Groups to which Azerbaijan is a member, namely Contact Groups on Palestine, Jammu and Kashmir and Muslim minorities in Europe.
