No difference of opinion in management of Turkey’s economy, presidential spokesperson says

Turkish Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın denied reports on April 5 that there was a difference of opinion in the way the economy is being managed in the country.

“Some speculations that there is a division in Turkey’s economic coordination erupt from time to time. I want to express that these speculations do not reflect the truth,” Kalın said at a press briefing in Ankara.

The statement followed media reports claiming that Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek would resign.
