Russian-origin ISIL militant detained in Turkey, planning to down US plane

Police on Aug. 10 detained a Russian-origin Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militant who had been planning to down a U.S. plane stationed at the İncirlik air base in the southern province of Adana with a drone, Doğan News Agency has reported.

The militant has reportedly been identified as Renad Bakıev.
