Head of the Emergency Center of Hamedan Medical University said five of the wounded have been discharged from the hospital and the rest were being treated.
An earthquake measuring 4.7 on Richter scale rocked Nahavand early Friday.
According to the seismological center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 05:34 hours local time (01:04 GMT Friday) in an area located at 48.42 degrees longitude and 34.18 degrees latitude and in the depth of two kilometers.
Iran sits astride several major faults in the earth’s crust and is prone to frequent earthquakes, many of which have been devastating.
