More recently, Azerbaijani media have reported about an unpleasant incident aboard the plane of the Russian airline Aeroflot. As 1news.az reports, the menu offered to the passengers of the Moscow-Baku flight included “Armenian-style turkey with rice”.

One of the passengers, expressing his indignation, turned to the stewardess, but she avoided answering.

We applied to the Public Joint-Stock Company (PJSC) Aeroflot in order to clarify the situation. But, no response has been provided.

At the same time, one of the passengers also filed a formal complaint to the airline.

In its response letter, the airline sincerely apologizes for the incident and reports on the prompt replacement of the “hot lunch” diet.

We quote the text of the letter, signed by the representative of the claims department of PJSC Aeroflot, Kristina Khromova, without changes:

“Thank you for contacting PJSC Aeroflot and choosing the services of our airline when organizing your trip. Our airline pays close attention to the quality of passenger service.

The comments and suggestions of the customers sent to the airline are very important for us, since they allow us to assess the quality of our service comprehensively and objectively and take measures aimed at its improvement. We dare to assure you that no any request of passengers is left without proper reaction.

We regret the situation you described that had happened on June 24 during Moscow-Baku flight SU1852, and that this fact disappointed you. We sincerely apologize and assure you that this fact was in no way aimed at insulting you and all other passengers traveling on this flight.

We would also like to inform you that, taking into account the information received from you, from 28.06.2017 we made a prompt replacement in the “hot lunch” diet. We hope you will have only positive emotions on the next flights of our airline.

On behalf of the management of PJSC Aeroflot, we once again sincerely apologize and will be glad to welcome you again aboard our airplanes! “
