The appeal of the President of Azerbaijan was delivered to the participants at the third meeting of the leadership of the prosecution bodies, specialized anti-corruption bodies and ombudsmen of the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

According to APA, the appeal was delivered by the head of department, the advisor of the President of Azerbaijan on law enforcement and defense issues, Fuad Alasgarov.

It was stated in the appeal of the head of state that it is important for Azerbaijan to develop a tolerant environment, establish intercultural dialogue in the world: “The declaration of this year in Azerbaijan as the Year of Islamic Solidarity and the holding of the Islamic Solidarity Games are important contributions in this direction. The organization of this meeting in Baku is also an important event. Azerbaijan is a modern country that has achieved sustainable development. A system of transparent relations has been formed in our country, human rights and freedoms are ensured. The model we use in public services is considered to be the best model in international practice from the point of view of preventing corruption. This event of ECO will provide impetus for further strengthening of cooperation. “
