Attackers in Imam Khomeini shrine brutally killed

Armed men have opened fire at the shrine of Ayatollah Khomeini in Tehran on Wednesday morning.

Following the shooting, the pilgrims are locked inside the shrine of Imam Khomeini (RA) in order to maintain security.

Some ambulances and a bus entered the shrine of Imam Khomeini, and the subway line route to Imam Khomeini shrine’s station is closed by security forces.

According to reports the police forces and agents are now defusing a bomb at the Imam Khomeini’s shrine in south of Tehran.

Reportedly, two of the shooters are arrested and one attacker blew himself up.

According to reports following the shootings at the shrine of Imam Khomeini, 5 people are injured and one is killed.

The security forces managed to kill one of the gunmen. A woman was also arrested by security guards minutes ago.

Some news suggests one of the attackers to the shrine of Imam Khomeini has killed himself with cyanide.

Gunmen attacked the shrine, one was killed by security forces, one commited suicide with cyanide and one is arrested alive.

Interior Minister Rahmani Fazli has issued an order for holding an extraordinary security session in Tehran to investigate the shooting incidents at the Parliament and the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini.

The second suicide bomber at the shrine of Imam Khomeini was shot dead by security forces, while carrying six war grenades.
