Tel Aviv: Rape culture protested in slutwalk

Several hundred people took part in the annual “SlutWalk” protest, Friday, by marching through central Tel Aviv in a rally against sexual harassment and assault.

The protest culminated in a rally at Tel Aviv’s Habimah Square where demonstrators gathered and chanted slogans such as “No means no!”

The worldwide SlutWalk movement began after a Toronto policeman suggested in 2011 that women could avoid sexual assault by not dressing like a “slut.”
