Prince Hamdan tours Media Walk at Arab Media Forum

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, toured Media Walk, which will host several activities throughout the two-day Arab Media Forum, AMF, that opened in Dubai today.

The Media Walk remains a key feature of AMF that attracts media professionals from around the Arab region, who find novelty in the content and context of the event and opportunities to discuss challenges arising from the constantly changing events in the Arab world.

A range of new activities are being offered at the Media Walk, such as the ’20 Minutes sessions’, which will be staged at the Palmyra and Babylon theatres, where prominent media figures will hold interactive sessions with audiences. The Media Walk will also feature, for the first time, a replica of Sarooq Al-Hadeed Museum, where artefacts from the actual museum will be showcased during the AMF with the aim of highlighting civilisations that had existed in the UAE.

The Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Centre, will display the virtual reality experience of ‘Mars 2117’ project for guests to embark on a journey to outer space.

The Media Walk will be equipped with top-notch technical gears to facilitate efficient communication and quick coverage of the event sessions. It will also include various entertainment activities and, for the first time, the Souk area, which mirrors traditional Arabic markets.
