Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, on May 21, met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed Zayed Al Nahyan.

As the press service of the head of state reports, the meeting stressed the high level and dynamic development of bilateral relations. It was noted with satisfaction that the number of tourists arriving in Azerbaijan from the UAE increased, and there was a good potential for the development of trade relations.

Also, the prospects for investment and cooperation in the energy, petrochemical, tourism, transport, agriculture and healthcare spheres were emphasized.

In Addition, the interlocutors positively assessed the increase in flights from the UAE to Azerbaijan.
