The film “Ali and Nino” was premiered at the US Navy Memorial and Navy Heritage Center in Washington with the organizational support of the Georgian and Azerbaijani embassies in the US, haqqin.az was informed by the Azerbaijani Embassy in the United States.
The premiere of “Ali and Nino”, filmed with the support of the Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Leyla Aliyeva, was attended by 300 people, including officials of the US Administration and Congress, ambassadors and diplomats accredited in Washington, representatives of the “Dushunja” center, and public figures.
The ambassadors Elin Suleymanov and David Bakradze spoke at the reception within the framework of the event.
The Ambassador of Georgia spoke about the historical friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia. He noted that this year, both states celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the United States. David Bakradze reiterated the importance of continued US support for the independence and sovereignty of both states.
Azerbaijani Ambassador Elin Suleymanov spoke about the historical importance of the film. He thanked the creative staff for the efforts made, noting the great contribution of the film’s executive producer Leila Aliyeva.
