Looks like Diego Maradona loves the UAE. The legendary Argentinian footballer has returned to these shores to take over the reins at UAE’s Al Fujairah SC. The club was relegated to the second division last season.
The 56-year-old confirmed the news on his Facebook page, stating: “I want to tell you that I’m the new technical director of Al Fujairah SC, of the second division of United Arab Emirates,” he wrote. “These are my new colours!”
In 2011, Maradona had a stint with the UAE’s Al Wasl Club, before the two parted ways.
