Do you know that supercar maker Lamborghini’s largest showroom in the world is located in Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road?

The iconic 30,000 square foot showroom is spread over three levels, was designed by none other than Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott, who designed the Bastille Opera in Paris and the National Bank of Dubai headquarters and other iconic buildings in the UAE.

The distinctive feature of the showroom is the external glass façade which is suspended by steel cables.

According to the description by the architect, the Lamborghini showroom and offices building “reflects and emphasizes the spirit of this exclusive automobile line, designed to cater to a select, very specialized audience.”
“Ultimate style and supreme performance are the essential characteristics of this line; therefore, the architecture of the building picks these ideas and develops an aerodynamic design based on curvilinear lines, transparent glass, black surfaces and yellow brilliant lines.”
The modern interior measuring with a total surface of 1.800 square meters over the three floors showcases model lineup.
The showroom, located in Sheik Zayed Road, exit 41, also houses a service center, and meets the need for increased space as Lamborghini expands its model line-up and plans to double sales with the launch of its new SUV by 2018.
