Haifa District Court has sentenced Kirya Ata resident Shlomo Pinto, 32, to 11 years in prison for attempted murder.

Pinto was arrested after stabbing a Jewish employee of Shufersal in Kiryat Ata in October 2015. Pinto’s reason for stabbing the employee was because he thought that he was Arab.
