Azerbaijani hackers broke into emails of about 5 thousand Armenians

Anti-Armenia Team has promised to publish the 450GB of data obtained as a result of hacking.

Members of the Azerbaijani cyber group Anti-Armenia Team reported hacking of email accounts of about 5 thousand Armenians. Hackers did not inform about the details of hacking, specifying only that access to the data was obtained through phishing attacks. As evidence, the group has provided a database fragment including logins and passwords of the hacking victims.

According to the hackers, they have obtained “important information”. In the near future, Anti-Armenia Team has promised to publish the 450GB of data obtained as a result of hacking.

Recall that in early September of this year Anti-Armenia Team hacked servers used by the government of Armenia, stole and published the passport details of foreign nationals who have entered the country. Earlier this year, hackers attacked 47 Armenian websites, including the resource of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The targeted websites include the websites of embassies and consulates of Armenia in the United States, Russia, Argentina, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, etc.
