A suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest at a Kurdish wedding in northern Hasakah, Syrian Kurdistan (Rojava).

According to a Kurdistan24 reporter, at least 20 were killed and 47 others wounded by the explosion at Sanabil Hall, northern Hasakah.

The wounded were transferred to the national hospital in Hasakah.

Islamic State (IS) claims the responsibility of the wedding party suicide attack in Hasakah.

The Kurdistan Region medical teams in Zakho have been sent to Peshabur border crossing point to recieved the wounded people to be treated in the Region if needed.
