Some 103 Palestinians have been shot dead by Israeli forces since the start of the year, Quds Press reported yesterday.

Sizteen-year-old Issa Tarayrah became the 103 person to be shot this year. This brings the number of those killed since the start of what has become known as the Jerusalem Intifada to 248.

Tarayrah was killed in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron and his death raises the number of the Palestinians who were killed from this Palestinian city alone to 77, including 47 executions. Four of the deaths were from Tarayrah family.

Among the 248 Palestinian deaths, 59 are under 18 years old, including a three-year-old who was killed in an airstrike in Gaza on 11 October and a four-month-baby killed in near Bethlehem on 30 October.
