By opening the production line, Iran is fulfilling parts of earlier agreements to transfer Iran’s technology of producing the raw material needed for making the drug to the Russian side.

Now the indigenous Iranian raw material needed for Fingolimod which enjoys highest global standards in production would be available in the Russian and other world markets.

Hashemi, who arrived in Saint Petersburg on Wednesday morning, is due to hold talks with his Russian counterpart and sign a number of documents with the Russian side including 15 protocols on bilateral cooperation.
