Today is the birthday of the First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva. Mehriban Aliyeva is one of the most stylish First Ladies in the world and the undisputed leader among the First Ladies of the former USSR.

Many women, both in Azerbaijan and abroad, are trying to emulate the style of Mehriban Aliyeva.

But unlike many other First Ladies, Mehriban Aliyeva is actively involved in the social life of Azerbaijan. As president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, as well as a member of parliament of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva is actively involved in solution of many issues, including promotion of Azerbaijani culture and art abroad.

First Lady of Azerbaijan has many awards, including The Officer of French Legion of Honor, the Grand Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit (Poland), as well as the highest award of Pakistan Order «Hilal-e Pakistan» and many other awards.
