The first batch of Qatar pilgrims arrived in Makkah yesterday via land, with the rest of pilgrims set to arrive by Monday via air.
An estimated 1,200 pilgrims from Qatar are divided over 10 batches, nine of which will arrive in Makkah via air.
A delegation from Qatar’s Haj Mission had arrived several days earlier to ensure the readiness of the residential locations for pilgrims in Makkah, Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah.
The delegation will be working throughout the Haj period to ensure that Qatar’s pilgrims are provided with specialised services and are in the best conditions that facilitate them to perform the rituals safely and easily.
Qatar’s pilgrims can reach the delegation by calling 132 in Qatar or on toll-free No. 800-3040444 in Saudi Arabia.
They can also download the dedicated mobile app, which is compatible with all smartphones and offers a wide range of information about Haj rituals and how to contact the delegation, reports.
