Saudi Arabia has killed a man who attempted to attack a mosque in Qatif on Tuesday night, according to local media.
The attacker, who was said to be wearing an explosive vest, was killed near Al-Rasoul Al-A’dham mosque in the village of Um Al-Hamam in Qatif.
Another man was arrested by police in Al-Mustafa area and unconfirmed reports say that both men were not Saudis.
Security services cordoned off the area after the incident, which was around 7pm.
