Kuwaiti National Assembly Deputy Speaker Mubarak Al-Khurainej has re-affirmed Kuwait’s unwavering support of Egypt, saying that his country will continue to offer all possible support to Cairo.
Al-Khurainej who heads the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Friendship Committee in the Parliament said in a statement on the side-lines of his meeting with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit that Egypt’s role is very important, adding that Egypt should be supported militarily and through grants.
“We will offer all possible assistance to Egypt at the level of parliamentary action or the government,” Al-Khurainej said.
Khurainej pointed out that the presence of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the Arab summit held in Mauritania last week reaffirms his commitment to the Arab nation.
