A detention warrant was issued for 42 journalists on July 25 as a part of the investigation into the Fethullahist Terror Organization/Parallel State Structure (FETÖ/PYD) following July 15 failed coup attempt.
Journalist Nazlı Ilıcak is among the 42 people that Istanbul anti-terror deputy chief prosecutor İrfan Fidan demanded a detention warrant.
However, police could not find Ilıcak at her residence in Istanbul and contacted police units in the Aegean province of Muğla, assuming that she might be in Bodrum.
