A Turkish student and a bike lover Ismail Oznam, decided to cross the Bosphorus on a bike, for this, he chose the Eurasia tunnel that crosses the Bosphorus strait undersea and links Asian and European parts of Turkey.
Ismail filmed his feat and posted it on the internet, but he had an unpleasant surprise waiting for him at the end of the tunnel, as it is forbidden to cross the tunnel on a bike. He was fined 300 YTL.
His feat, however, brought him fame and he became quite well-known in the Turkish segment of social networks, it also attracted the attention of local media.
