Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani said at the annual UN General Assembly debate held in New York Tuesday that Israel’s discriminatory policies towards the Palestinian amounts to “apartheid.”

Normalization cannot be obtained with Israel until gives up its “”apartheid policies” against the Palestinian people, the sheik said before the gathering.

The added, “The Palestinian people are more devoted to their rights than ever,” while “eliminating the occupation has become an urgent international project.”
