According to the statement of MES of Azerbaijan, by order of the president Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan will channel humanitarian aid with the aim of assisting the Rohingya people, who suffer from ongoing mass violence against Muslims in Myanma.

The humanitarian assistance will be sent via Silk Way Airlines to Bangladesh, where Rohingya Muslims have found a temporary shelter.

The directed assistance includes daily necessities and foodstuffs.
