Saudi Crown Prince discusses regional situation with British FM

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense received a telephone call on Friday from British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson.

During the conversation, they reviewed bilateral relations and means to promote them, in addition to discussing latest regional situation.

Also Friday, the Crown Prince donated SR 16 million from his own account to charitable societies in the Eastern Region as part of the support provided to such associations in line with the Project of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for Supporting charitable societies in all regions of the Kingdom.

The initiative will benefit ten charitable societies which lined up programs to support different social segments of society.

The total number of beneficiaries in the Eastern Region is 41,655 males and females including orphans, people with special needs, cancer patients, those with Down Syndrome, young men and women to be married and needy families.

The Crown Prince’s support as part of The Project of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for Supporting charitable societies was launched in all regions two weeks ago starting in Riyadh with SR 23 million benefiting 11,680 people, through 14 charitable societies.

Last week, Makkah region also received a donation of SR 15 million, including 14,914 beneficiaries through 10 charitable societies.
