Astana. August 9. KazTAG – President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has conducted a phone talk with Turkish leader Recep Erdogan, Akorda reports.

“The President of Turkey said he plans to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan and take part in the upcoming summit of the Islamic Cooperation Organization on science and technologies in September in Astana,” reads the message.

The states’ leaders discussed the prospects of bilateral relations and shared opinions on a number of issues of international agenda.

The OIC summit on science and technologies will take place in Astana on September 10-11.
