Azerbaijani citizens feel one of the most protected among the CSI countries.
According to Trend, Uzdaily reports about it referring to the American company Gallup.
Gallup surveyed 136,000 residents in more than 135 countries around the world regarding the level of crime in the areas they inhabit and the reliability of local law enforcement officials. The obtained data formed the basis of the “World Index of Law and Order” prepared by the organization.
According to the survey, Singapore ranked the first with 97 points, Uzbekistan ranks the second with 95 points.
Turkmenistan took the second place among the CIS countries with 91 points (the 4th place in the world). Azerbaijan and Georgia ranked third among the CIS countries with 87 points each.
Based on 2016 results, the index of Tajikistan was 86 points, Armenia – 82, Kazakhstan – 79, Belarus – 77, Kyrgyzstan – 74, Russia – 74 and Ukraine – 68 points.
