US forces conducted an airstrike against Al-Qaeda in Idlib Syria, on Thursday, and killed several of its fighters, according to a statement from US Central Command (CENTCOM).

“Idlib has been a significant safe haven for Al-Qaeda in recent years,” the statement said.

In January, a separate strike destroyed an Al-Qaeda training camp where over 100 fighters were being trained in “terror tactics,” the statement highlighted.
