Sheikha Mozah bint Saeed bin Rashid has just become the first royal from the Al Maktoum family to fly a commercial plane.

Sheikha Mozah is Dubai-ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s niece, and the whole family showed her support and offered congratulations on social media on Sunday, after piloting the plane.

Sheikah Mozah passed the commercial test in April of last year, but only now did she fly an assisted Emirates plane. She’s been documenting this achievement on her Instagram, with photos showing her certificate and the view from the top.

She also snapped an image of the completed flight, captioning the photo: “stress free and happy.”
