President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met in Davos with the head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti.
At the meeting, Suma Chakrabarti, thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the support in re-electing him the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and expressed hope for productive cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the coming period.
Noting the existence of very good relations between Azerbaijan and EBRD President Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated this cooperation, and said that effective communication has been established for the implementation of various projects.
Referring to the ongoing economic reforms in Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev stressed that our country has constantly paid attention to the development of the private sector.
During the conversation it was noted that in recent years Azerbaijan has created good perspectives for cooperation in the implementation of agricultural, transport, infrastructure projects, which will open opportunities for cooperation.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
