The Qatari foundation RAF has presented six new translations of the Holy Quran in different languages at the 27th Doha International Book Fair.
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), they are in English, French, Spanish, Swahili, Filipino and Chinese.
They have been published as part of the foundation’s program to distribute half a million copies of the Quran along with translations.
Other Quranic books showcased at the event include “Scientific Miracle of the Quran in Nabawi Sunnah” and “Islam and the West in Western Works” by Zaghloul El-Naggar.
The 27th Doha International Book Fair kicked off in the Qatari capital on November 30 and will run until December 10.
490 publishers from 33 countries have displayed 104,000 titles in this edition of the book fair.
The Iranian Cultural Center in the Persian Gulf Arab country has actively participated in the cultural event, presenting the latest works by Iranian publishers in Arabic and English.
