IRGC commander announced that Iran has no forces in Iraq’s Mosul as the Iraqi forces are operating powerfully needless of any foreign forces.
Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari made the remarks on the sidelines of a military conference in Teheran on Thursday, where he hailed the Iraqi government and military for their powerful performance in Mosul.
He underlined that Iranian youth are very enthusiastic to fight against terrorists in Syria and defend the Holy Shrines, as defending them is defending the Resistance Front and Islamic Revolution, however, it is unauthorized unless they use unofficial ways to reach the battleground.
Asked on IRGC’ response to possible violation of JCPOA by US , Jafari said IRGC is a part of Iranian government and the Establishment and would follow and support the decisions made by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, the government and the Parliament.
