Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday at dawn, the Deheishe refugee camp, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, shot and injured two young Palestinian men, and kidnapped four Palestinians, including a child.
Several military vehicles invaded the refugee camp, before storming and searching homes, leading to clashes with dozens of local youths who hurled stones, empty bottles and Molotov cocktail at the armored vehicles.
The army said two soldiers suffered burns, after their vehicles were attacked with rocks and Molotov cocktails, and were moved to Israeli hospitals.
Palestinian medical sources said the soldiers shot two young men with rubber-coated steel bullets, causing moderate wounds, while many Palestinians, including children, suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.
The soldiers kidnapped a child, identified as Ramzi Abu Ajamiyya, from his home, after violently invading his home and searching it, causing excessive property damage.
The soldiers also kidnapped Yassin Bdeir and Ibrahim Abu Srour, from ‘Adia refugee camp, and Mohammad Fararja, from Doha city.
